​​​Jiu-Jitsu Fundamentals
Your Foundation
​
The Jiu-Jitsu fundamentals program at Renzo Gracie Ponce will develop your Jiu-Jitsu foundation. You will begin developing your mobility, coordination, and body awareness for the grappling arts. You will learn the basic BJJ concepts and techniques to succeed. Drilling and live training are emphasized with a focus on positional control and technique.
Classes are 60 minutes and structured around a warm-up, lessons in technique, and partner practice.

No-Gi Grappling
Sport and Competitive Grappling
You will begin focusing on sport and competitive grappling. You will shed the traditional gi and learn to control your opponent through manipulation of their body instead of their clothing. You will begin adding advanced techniques to your fundamental foundation. We practice live feet-to-floor training with an emphasis on takedowns and competition structure.

Classes are 60 minutes and structured around a grappling-specific warm-up, lessons in technique, partner practice, and live training.

Kids Jiu-Jitsu and Kids No-Gi Grappling
Ages 5 - 12
​
Through active play, we teach your child body awareness, confidence, and problem-solving skills with Jiu-Jitsu as our guide. Your child will learn that focus, hard work, and consistency develop results.
Classes are 50 minutes and structured around a fun warm-up, a lesson on technique, games for mobility and problem-solving, and partner practice.
